I Take Your Memory to Work
i take your memory to work
it is there in my head
and i sit there –
almost lost at my desk
i take your memory with me
i have it,
when i am driving in the car
music played brings it alive
it is something –
that catches me inside
i take your memory with me
i have it when i am asleep
when dream like disturbances
crash against my sleep
i cannot forgot you
and i make sure –
i take your memory everywhere –
with me
and i make sure i hold onto it
so ever tight
