Suited
i was suitable
when you were suitably lonely
when you felt a little depressed
now i have had to hold the problems
i am not that impressed
i will not talk to anyone
these ties to reality really do bind
the price i have paid
for a period of being out of my mind
so you want me to think
think about who i am
tell the truth to your child
as you hold their hand
tell them that their family life is not so neat
and not as smart as the house you bought
he was suitable,
when your husband’s bed was cold
of course i never took it that far
because i could see the chips in your gold
