O.K. Corral
who left –
or walked away
it is a question –
often asked –
in the o.k. corral shootout
that,
any relationship or any sort –
can become
who drew first
and who needs to reload their gun
who left first
there is always –
a rush for first prize
it is just a manifestation –
of an inner pride
like the day you wake up –
and you say, no more lies
i have to say it,
i left you, well, my heart did
and in the end
it came down to sanity
and the valued advice of friends
