Sparkle
did you ever plan to see me
share that bottle of wine
give me the present
because messages just feel –
like support –
to something dying
how did you crush this craft –
that was once flying
and i almost fell to my knees
when you said i had a sparkle
but strength kept me up
as it has through this debacle
what is going on
i know that life can be hard
but is this how we work
just tearing each other part
