The Thing

how can you describe the pain?
and why is it,
that i continue to fight?
because,
i only hurt myself
and i know,
that i am probably not easy to like
but this insubstantial thing i feel
it hunts me tonight
and i know,
there is so much i have
so much,
that outweighs the downs in life
but how can you describe the pain?
