Celebrate Life
celebrating life –
celebrating the mortgage
celebrating,
all the bills we pay
people thank the day
and cleric’s start to pray
and i feel it,
the tomb of pressure
it wraps its walls around me
and despite my relationship
it can be hard to see
and if i love to love
it’s because i long to see
there is love to be felt
felt by everybody
and my eyes inside turn north
as the heart skips a sound
celebrating life –
as we live through word of mouth
