Anchor

although,
life has changed so much
in these last few months
and it has changed –
beyond anything –
that i could have imagined
or seen
i fight to remain grounded
and to keep an anchor on me

although,
life has changed so much
in these last few months
in ways –
which go far beyond my vision
and what i could be
i know i will remain grounded
because you keep an anchor on me
