Their Name in the Credits
it was strange to see their name
in the credits
of the television programme i was watching
eight years since i last saw their face
i remember when they had nowhere to live
and they stayed at my place
and now, i see their name in the credits
haven’t they done well?
it was strange
because i remember all our jokes
and the time when life felt like a game
it was hard, but i was dragged back
to that time of no responsibility
a surreal time, a crazy reality
it was strange to see their name
eight years on
in the credits of a television programme
that i was sat watching
