Checklist

so the child
just becomes a set of symptoms
a checklist for the insane
where is the love
the acceptance
for who the child is
without the love and the acceptance
they are unlikely to go far
the parent
just repeats its own upbringing
carrying on the mistakes
unresolved childhood issues
and trauma
