Going Home – Written Saturday 15th October 2005 (Aged 30)

Going Home

going home
tinged with sadness
look after you
and half way to gladness
going home
from one coast to another
to the arms of our home
back in the arms of my lover
feelings low
realising that back to work
will go really slow
lost in thoughts
of a better world
which i now must leave
going home
with all these mixed feelings
away from work
i become a human being
once again, discovering who i am
away now,
to my so called homeland
