Smile It Away
i smile it away
but its there
its in my eyes
and its there –
somewhere inside
i have seen madness –
take people to the extreme
aren’t we all –
just fragile beings
i smile it away
in the cold light of the day
when it becomes dusk
and sadness stays
but it’s there,
what more can i say
it just takes time
let’s make it fly away
