All This – Written Wednesday 19th January 2001 (Aged 31)

All This

friendships, a social circle
all these –
would have coated –
the delusional things
with a veneer of reality
a sense of balance
and a sense of sanity

father figure,
if not a biological dad
someone who gave you –
all the love they had
and a mother who did not force you
to eat the apple gone bad
all this –
would have left you much less sad

acceptance, tolerance
being taught to believe in yourself
surely it would have helped –
you face more difficult situations
all this,
would left you in a warmer place
instead of the look you have –
stained upon your face
