She Asks Me
am i happy?
and how do i feel?
what is this –
am i even real?
born and told,
to move on soon
the future is caught
in the sound of a sonic boom
am i life,
or is this even real
there is hope
and it is made of steel
am i happy?
and how do i feel?
i move forwards,
up against the bill
