Loneliness
loneliness on every corner
and in every heart
people reaching out
wanting to take part
i read passionate lines
from a woman,
just trying to make her way
loneliness has taken her away
only young,
and flirting with me
not knowing,
that the answer left with my sanity
i see her words,
as they become more explicit
loneliness is upon us
and hers just tries to elicit
what appears strong is often weak
there is something inside,
something of which we never speak
loneliness,
so much loneliness
