The Gain – Written Tuesday 26th June 2001 (Aged 26)

The Gain

we will work it out
a little pain,
will justify the end gain
i don’t mind you crying,
it might just hide mine
we will work it out
but i will be counting every day
and every day,
i will be thinking of you
waking up,
will not be the same without you
a little pain,
but we will be stronger
and perhaps,
absence will make the heart grow fonder
i have waited this long for someone like you
it won’t really hurt to wait a little longer
we will work it out
a little pain,
will justify the end gain
