Writing A Letter
want to write a letter
but he seems far away
across the planes,
there’s a lorry load of pain
feel i should let him know,
exactly where i am
mentally and physically
but i am not sure he’d understand
want to write a letter
but the words i need
are not ones i know
there is no river, just weed
the words will not flow
and he is still consumed by greed
the acceptance i once craved
is no longer such a need
want to write a letter
but i do not believe
what do you do,
across the planes,
there’s a lorry load of pain
times does make it better
but it can never be forgotten
but still, i want to write him a letter
