Birth

once i was cut free,
i was free
once i had my way
and once i had seen the scenery
i was always going to be me
and no matter what the day,
you will always set me free
and once i was cleaned,
once this was done
once i was pristine and i gleamed
i settled on being young
and i dreamed,
i really dreamed
once i had been delivered
once they saw me
i did not detect a shiver
because once i was cut free,
i was free
and i was always destined to be me
