Going By

the days are going by
going by,
and it is hard
but you have caught my eye
i have learnt a lot of things
how to ride,
without stabilisers
and how to dream
but it is all going by,
and it is hard
but i know it is coming closer
and i know,
the days are moving
tender and sweet
to the sound of shuffling feet
going by,
and it is hard,
but this feeling does not lie
