Read The Book
i would let you read my thoughts
i would tell you about my nights
and i would say,
stop the screams
and stop these crazy dreams
the ones,
which throw me around like a toy
i would tell you
that sometimes i wonder
who i would have been
had the mental health of my parents
no so rocked the baby
that eventually it sunk
falling to the bottom –
with a longing and a heavy bump
who would i have been
would any damage just be skin deep
not the chaos,
that i now find in my sleep
i would tell you all of my thoughts
maybe i hold back,
maybe i do,
but there is still good depth to feelings
i do love you
