Suddenly
suddenly, everything looks good—
so full of surprise.
a flash of your smile,
and light projected from your eyes.
suddenly, there is so much more.
you have unlocked the rusty door—
my love is free.
suddenly, everything is good,
and you are the only thing i see.
from a distance,
you are a mirage; up close, a dream.
suddenly, everything becomes a utopian scene.
i am a cloud, and in the sky,
i want to shout aloud.
suddenly, everything looks good—
life is as it should be, without its dreary shroud.

It feels almost like something I’d write now. Thank you, that’s a lovely response. There’s some of my future writing style and identity in this one

“Future writing style”? What do you mean?

Well everyone’s writing has its identity, phrasing, use of words etc. I can see bits in here that would become more common in my writing.
