What Have I Done To Hurt You?
What have I done
to hurt you?
I will keep on going
till I find the answer—
the one
that tells me all about you.
You’re not showing,
and I need to know
what to do.
A strange thing happened today—
I made someone blue,
but I didn’t stop
to pass the time of day.
What have I done
to hurt you?
What did I say?
All I did
was feed my mind with dreams.
Everything seemed
to be okay—
pretty trees,
such nice things.
