What Have I Done To Hurt You?

what have i done
to hurt you?
i will keep on going
till i find the answer—
the one
that tells me all about you.
you’re not showing,
and i need to know
what to do.
a strange thing happened today—
i made someone blue,
but i didn’t stop
to pass the time of day.
what have i done
to hurt you?
what did i say?
all i did
was feed my mind with dreams.
everything seemed
to be okay—
pretty trees,
such nice things.
but who knows
where destiny lies,
or what the future brings?
