Dance With Death
someone stole your life—
now you know
that’s not right.
it happened
in the forgotten world
of the night.
and you know—
a madman stalks the park,
befriending the dark,
blending with the bark.
everyone sleeps inside.
and you know—
you’re fighting for life,
in the dark
of an unfriendly night,
wishing for infrared sight.
you dance with death,
James Garratt – March 1993
