Those Who Stay

i know that you’re going to change my view
i know it,
perhaps you have already
i know there are so many people
that somehow,
i need to see everyday
some do come and go
but some meet me,
and they decide to stay for a while
some want to abuse the things you have
others offer you their smile
these are the people who you invite in
whilst others seem restrained
and even call you by your name
some people simply don’t mean anything
others stay to live,
i know that you’re going to change my view
and i’m in a changing frame of mind
i would like to frame a brand new view
because i want to build a different place
taken out of the mould,
some people just never seem to leave
and some of these people you really need
