I Am As I Am

i am as i am
a friend of mine lost their mind
as they relaxed in arrogance
and said to me, it just takes time
i am as i am,
just look through my eyes
and then look inside your head
mental instability is in your boots
and there is always something to be said
for those with roots
i wait here with expectation
i wait here in a semi magical land
i am as i am
