Expensive Loot

i can tell you –
that people do not learn anymore
why bother?
when the path of least resistance
means,
you can just confirm your bias
and if you –
or someone you ask –
does not understand the question
are you learning
or just confirming your bias
that you know the truth
leaning is no longer so fashionable
being challenged has got the boot
mistruth and misinformation
is now the most expensive loot
