People Reached In And I Reached Out

i could talk about my childhood
till i ran out of breath
but i have lived a life since –
and you would be bored to death
childhood –
it came and went
life experience since then –
has made such a difference
that is the currency i use
and that is the place i play in
i was lucky as a younger man
people reached in and i reached out
people took me hand,
and were able to show me –
what the world was all about
