Low Definition

addictions –
give your own damage –
some description

life,
life is fiction
a comic book tale
caught in the backlight
of persistent hale
and an idea,
that we must not fail
even though failure
like happiness –
has no true definition
and self worth
no actual conscription

left as we are –
to the world of addictions
self medication,
daydreams and glorification
broken down
like the hopes we share
give your own damage –
a solid description
