Goodbye Someone

goodbye someone
someone says goodbye
why are you so alone tonight
take your hands
give them to a lonely soul
hold them together
they may keep out the cold
because it’s been such cold weather
and it’s time to change the season
someone has said hello
that’s all you need, it’s a reason
and that something shows
goodbye someone
someone says goodbye
but really, it’s just another hello
hello to a new wave,
a brand new ever changing phase
