Lost, Not Found
i am lost, not found
i have been living under the weather
but not underground
i am encased but i am not biased
and i am basically sound
i am in your hands
I have given you a book to read
but mine does not take away choice
and it will not capture your need
but i am alright in the day
just occasionally a little down
i am lost, not found

My poems / writing / stuff – particular when I was younger was an intensity – it was taking moments and feelings and really magnifying them – I wrote quickly in part for that reason. Hopefully you’ve been found as well – I am sure you have 🙂

You can feel the intensity in this… and a quiet urge not to ‘lose the moment’.
I found myself… that is the greatest gift (and piece of work) I ever got (done). 🙂 Everything else is a bonus!

It’s very intense at this point – I actually like this batch of 1997 poems – I’m 22 – clearly very young and a bit immature, but there’s something I like about these – they’re unashamed and in parts very hopeful.

Yes, they are intense and focused. Strong emotions seeking an outlet.
(I’m off to bed now… beyond tired. Have a great nigth! 🙂 )

… maybe another answer could be: I found myself, but I have not found a home yet. 🙂
