The Tempting Fog
untold eyes mingle with un-held dreams
the sort,
that swim upstream
and through our very seams
lost late at night to the hurry of entangled sleep
where dreams swim upstream
and out nightmares plunge so deep
untold eyes witness the merry-go-round surprise
lives capsize,
love never really dreams
but you always swim through the tempting fog

The Tempting Fog – Written Wednesday 2nd August 2006 (Aged 31)

Poignant and so alive! The imagery is outstanding, love your choice of words… they apply subtle, but steady pressure & communicate a distraught feeling. “Capsizing lives”… wow, what an image.
