Feeling Sorry For You

feeling sorry for you seems like pity
and that’s a pity –
because pity is the last thing you deserve
i know that where you find yourself
is probably very dark
and it’s a place where dark things lurk
i do feel sorry for you,
but how can i say what i really want to say
when the words lack the type of arms
the type of arms that need to hold you
the type that would help chase away the harm
feeling sorry for you is just too much pity
and it’s such a pity that is true
but i would like to help,
because i can see how much it effects you
