Some People Search
some people search
but would they stop if they found it
because i could be a number of things
and if your life –
has always been about searching
what is there after the searching?
perhaps a realisation –
that dreams constantly move?
and perhaps.
there is just more hurting
some people search
would they stop if i found you
if you were their answer,
like snake’s vicious charmer
or a god with six heads
a mystery found, but chained to the bed
some people search
just as some will never be content
they will spend their life searching
i fear, the reality will be a whole load of hurting
