God Knows

god knows…
whoever she is
and,
wherever they may be
god knows…
but,
it’s inside of me
i know,
it’s inside of you
and no one needs to tell you
what you should do

god knows…
whoever she is
and,
whatever cloud they are on
so,
sing it low,
flat and sharp
make it long
god knows….
but,
that vision is mine
and your vision is all yours
and you do not have to be a carpenter
to make your own doors
