Madness Stuffed Its Face
hopes and dreams
always had silent screams
no one heard them
and no one knew
later life,
has much to chew
younger people just never do
because consequence
is later life’s most arresting view
self confidence
found me,
as madness stuffed its face
back when people
could afford to buy a place
this is my look,
and this is my taste
ley bygones be bygones
and let talent go to waste
love and affection
came suddenly into view
i held onto tarot cards
when i did not know what to do
now,
thinking back
memories do not build orchards
so there must be something i lack
hopes and dreams
had silent screams
if only we had been educated
to the point where we were better beings

I had to double read this when I was typing this – can’t read my own writing :). Thank you :). This is yet more reflection and self examination. 🙂 x
