Accusations Run Deep
when you are labelled
by someone
as something as serious
as, ‘autism’
when you are told
that the things –
that you dearly hold
are in fact,
quite cold
all because you –
are presumed to be, ‘autistic’
then the repercussions
and the responsibility
of those accusations run deep
the pain it causes
especially when uttered –
by a stranger –
who darkly mutters
but never see their danger
James Garratt – June 2008
