Best of a Bad Job – Written October 2003 (Aged 28)

Best of a Bad Job

making the best of a bad job
making the best,
from what went wrong
i have been doing it all my life
i know if i trip and i do not run
than i will fall and i will be undone
society has a lot to answer
society should stand up and explain itself
you know,
i would love to go dancing
but i know i will only complain
but let’s put together the clothes
from whatever is lying around
and if it has been lying around too long
we will be,
making the best of a bad job
i should have had a better upbringing
i should have never been so terrible
i should have never been so clinging
but the emotional tug of war
left the small boys ears ringing
and if this is a bring and buy sale
i have just come for the bringing
i have go to do so much more giving
all i am doing is making the best of a bad job
