Say Them To Me

i wish –
you would say the things –
you say about me
you know,
the things you say in private
i wish –
you say them to my face
i wish –
you would have some courage
and have some backbone
maybe,
stop being so spineless
but then,
you never do
and i suspect you never have
always happiest –
being snide behind my back
i wish –
you would say the things –
you say about me
to my face
