Lip Sync Cold
lip sync cold
upon chattering teeth
bloodied by a loneliness
washed up on a beach
daring deeds,
remain just out of reach
comfort no one
who drags the past
on a coil or stone
lip sync cold
throw the dog a bone
snow driven couples
court in ancient cold
romance their destiny
and not what they are told
lip sync cold
beats a path,
to the broken front door
it has you in its embrace
and your face,
that will change forever more
