Watching Over Me – Written Saturday 18th August 2023 (Aged 48)

Watching Over Me

i am lucky
is –
someone watching over me?
like a champion
one that’s championing me
one that helps me see
i am fortunate
and –
i feel it everyday
it does not solve my inner turmoils
or always make me happy
but i never forget,
because to me it is real everyday
is –
someone watching over me?
because when i was young –
i was convinced that i was cursed
but then, my mind was such a mess
clearly,
in many ways i am very blessed
i feel it spiritually,
like it is all around me
but i know that it’s just a feeling
nonetheless it keeps me company
i am lucky
