Blind Faith Will Not Open Its Eyes
There are things that, of course,
I would like to achieve —
but my senses
have been put on hold,
placed in a holding request,
and they have taken leave.
So give me a cloud,
something in which I can believe.
There are things that, of course,
I would like to do —
but my senses,
they are vintage stock,
and yet I need something so very new.
Can I detect life?
Can I add in the clues?
There are things that, of course,
I would like to achieve —
but my blind faith is still so blind,
and it will not open its eyes.
It does not even have space to believe.
And my once naïve wants
feels like it suddenly has no need.
