Things You Do Not Share
Decisions,
they do catch up with you.
Age —
age is slower than consequence,
and feelings,
just like time,
make no sense.
And you know how you sit
as life sits down
and turns a page.
Eventually time unravels,
and it turns to another phase.
You look back,
and you can look back —
only you know
the weight of your life,
as you duck down
and feel the weight
upon your shoulders.
Internal feelings swell up,
like a balloon of despair.
Decisions catch up with you,
and likely,
there are things
you do not share.
