ended in the word, ‘teen’
perhaps i felt
i did not deserve me

not sure what you want
or what you need
i think when it comes to it –
it is easier
for you to push people away

is seems unattainable

sit there
waiting for you –

i had to close the door
so i realise that now –
that door will not be open for evermore
afterall,
how could i ever live in such hope and hurt

it hurts
as hard as it hits
this cycle
leaves us in bits
