Somebody Made a Difference
somebody made a difference
to a life lived so strange
so what happened to suburbia?
so what happened to my wage?
now I am twenty five
some people have what they want
but they never realise they are alive
they work hard –
and look for a partner –
who dreams of being somewhere else
but is too scared to actually leave
because they are not sure –
if they want to be themselves
somebody making a difference
i have got chapters of my life waiting
i will prepare the book
why don’t you do the writing?
so what happened to yours?
did you forget to turn on the light
i will make it strange to the touch
turn it on for my life
