Travelling Shallow Waters

the shallow
those with nothing better to do
will throw stones
and give us their judgement 
cast their nets
and trawl shallow waters
they will click and cluck their tongues
but that is okay
who needs the disturbed;
to define their day
the ignorant
will be trawling shallow waters
they will gossip
and they will talk
but we will always know the truth
no one can take that from us
and no one can ever take away
that we once loved
