I Know Intellect

i know intellect
i have seen it in people
when it is at its best
it is humble, slightly delicious
it inspires you,
it makes you envious
but not in a petty way
intellect is humble
yet it is sure enough
to change minds and –
challenge the world
this is intellect at its best
and it is why i know –
you do not have intellect
because they are just words
ill-conceived and contrived
words, which lack direction
