Nights In

nights in
off BBC3 and if i want more
BBC4
a glass of wine
cups of tea
thinking about the passing of time
feet up
on the settee
fiends and those who have become friends
talking with me
nights in
of soft lighting
lots of laughter
and always writing
i do not need much
in this life of cartwheels and fireworks
of cushions and candles
of inner contentment
i am sure i have a handle
