A Pause Is As Good As a No
a pause is as good as a no
there are no compromises i am afraid
a pause is a no
a pause is a decision already made
the mind is at a conclusion
and when you are pausing
it is just the words flailing in the confusion
a pause is as true as can be
they may not see clearly
but you know the answer
a pause and a look skywards
is an answer in light disguise
at least now you can go forwards
just follow the sadness of your eyes
at least you know where you stand
there is no lie anymore
a pause is as good as a no
it is not yes is it?
so what more could it be
a pause may leave some confused
but i will always see it clearly
