I Sat, I Watched and I Learnt

got bullied at school
got hit hard
but i was also cruel
got left out
but i sat and i watched
and although i yearned
i watched and i learnt
got a cold reception from the in crowd
now they are on a one way ticket
to being down and out
i wanted to be part of that crowd
but they did me a huge favour
by leaving me out
i sat, i watched and i learnt
got a few kicks
from people and i things i tried
of course, when i said i enjoyed it
they knew i had lied
but as i sat on the sidelines
just biding my time
i sat, i watched and i learned
and i am so glad i did
