Give and Take

if i am with you
i need to learn who you are
i am such a needy person
i need to much
i need your belief
and i need your touch
it is give and take
that creates what we make
you and i could travel far
or… we may not
but no matter what the length
i want us to learn a lot
i want your strength
even if you believe it is not there
it is give and take
and afternoons in the sun
learning about each other
and that we want and need
we should want to be together
and we need to believe
just starting out
it is give and take
