Outside and Inside
the outside,
it is hadrian’s wall at its peak
it is forceful army
it is the wittiest speak
the outside,
it is as tough as nails
it is the deep dark inside
where it fails,
it is an oppressed population
crushed by a steel revolution
it is heartbreak by the moment
it is tall rocks and prominent flower
if i am strong
it is still a leaning tower
the outside,
smiles with a grin
its wit cuts deep
it wanders from bedside
in lonely hours of sleep
haunted by a past
haunted by a future
so chain hope to a mast
the outside,
it is not like the inside
